Patrik Rzepski, Fall/Winter 2007, To New Beginnings

NEW YORK, 02 Feb 2007 - Patrik Rzepski showed his Fall/Winter 2007 collection at Scandinavia House. Patrik used the Fassbinder movie Querelle and collage artist Barbara Kruger's 'I am your slice of life' as his inspiration. The movie is about a sailor who arrives in the port of Brest and plays unusual games in a French whorehouse.
What caught ModaFoto's attention was Patrik's presence in New York's East Village, his clear connection to the Downtown art scene and the razor blade inside the invitation.
David Cruz led the hair team. Here he gives Romanian Andrea Stancu the look which is, 'tight, sleek and shiny in the front and chaotic in the back, almost as if the girl dipped her hands in a vat of gel and shoved the front of her hair back herself.'
